Short bio
I worked as sysadmin/systems engineer for about ten years in a highly heterogeneous environment with GNU/Linux, Mac OS X, FreeBSD and Windows clients and servers. What a mess! A few years ago I became interested in new project management methods for software development (Agile, XP, SCRUM and all that) and gradually shifted into my current project manager/developer position.
It’s great fun, but you won’t believe how hard it is to be agile in a government environment.
When I’m running a fever or drink too much, I write my own code, much to the dissatisfaction of our real developers. I like Ruby, Python, PHP, Bash, Perl and nowadays even Java.
Also, I’m a (natural) language freak and sometimes torture an electric guitar.
